Lunch with the girls!

At Emily and Maggie's school, the kids can go home for lunch anytime they want so we picked them up and headed to Qdoba (one of our favorite places). Conner was at school and Davis was at a friend's house so it was just the girls!

Davis is a big boy now!!

Since turning four in February, Davis has been very interested in age. Anytime he does something new, he says it's because he's a big boy now. He got to move up to Kids Club at the gym which is for 4-7 year olds...he thought that was pretty cool. Our conversation today was all about how Mommy used to be a kid and now I'm a mom so someday Davis will be a Dad and he thought that meant I will become a kid! So I explained No, when you're a dad, mommy will be a grandma! He thought about that for a minute and said, "when you're 100, you'll be a GIANT!!! Don't turn 100 or you'll break the house and scare baby Clare!!!" I had to reassure him several times that I will not become a giant. What a funny boy! We kept it simple for his birthday party and invited the Smith's over for dinner and cake. YEAH THE SMITH'S ARE HERE!!!!! We have had so much fun with Matt, Marci and their kids. Brandon and Davis have really hit it off and want to play every day. They are so fun to watch, they play so well and have such imaginations. Of course the rest of the kids are thrilled to have Austin, Kiersten and Reagan here too! They live one street away and our kids go to the same school, I don't think it has fully sunk in that they are here to stay.
